We met the way so many modern love stories begin — with a swipe on a dating app and a leap of faith.

Our first date was drinks at The Blue Parrot. What we thought would be a quick, casual meet-up turned into hours of effortless conversation. We closed the place down on a Sunday night, completely lost in each other and already feeling like we’d known one another forever.

From that evening on, we were inseparable. One amazing date turned into many Panthers games, spontaneous travels, mountain trips, and eventually a home we share — dogs and all. We didn’t just move in together; we both work from home, becoming roommates and co-workers at the same time. We knew combining our lives so fully could either be the best decision or a complete disaster. Thankfully, it became the best decision we’ve ever made, and our love only grew stronger and faster.
